The Farmers Market

Yesterday, Ryder and I got an early start ( to beat the HEAT). We left the house around 8:30 and went up to the Farmers Market. It was not what I was expecting, it was pretty small and they didn't have very much fruits and veggies, I ended up getting some sweet potatoes and carrots. The petting zoo was cute they had little baby pigs that were adorable and Ryder just looked at them and smiled. After we left there we headed to Sprouts to pick up some squash, pears, and apples. When we got home Ryder was wore out, he took a nap and I started making my baby purees. I spent about 12 dollars and made plenty of servings to last about 6 weeks or longer. We started with pears and this week he will be getting sweet potatoes!

  1. Glad you got some goodies! I LOVE sprouts too! They have a pretty good variety. I think homemade baby food is not only great but also better for the pocket book as well!:) In this economy, why not save a little too??:)
