CUTE stuff !

Our photographer @ Moments in film is having a CUTE BABY contest, so naturally we had to include Ryder ! A special session was included along with the contest. Here are some of the pics :

This is not his actual halloween costume, just a prop that the photog had. He looks pretty cute though, makes me excited for Halloween !

Today is a BIG day for my BOYS !

Jason is 28 years old today !

Ryder is 9 months old today !

Of course Jason had to work, so we headed up to Gila Bend and had a nice birthday breakfast with him.

Gymboree Friday

Ryder had his Gymboree class yesterday. The theme was hard and soft so they had all kinds of different little courses set up for the babies to crawl and play on. Some were hard surfaces and some were soft.

Here's Ryder going thru the tunnel. I had to put a little toy on the other side to get him started.

No, No, No

It seems like these are the favorite words around our house these days. Since Ryder has started crawling, he is into everything Jason calls him the CRAZY CRAWLER. I can't believe that we were encouraging and trying to teach him how to crawl, what were we thinking. I miss the good ol days when I could plop him down on his butt and surround him with toys and he would just sit there and play. Now it takes about 2.5 seconds and he's off! Don't get me wrong I love that the little guy is growing and learning, but it's alot harder now!

I finally signed us up for classes at Gymboree after much debate. It's kinda pricey. But after taking a couple of free classes we really enjoyed it. Ryder is fascinated by all the other babies. I was also thinking that since he's not in daycare this would be his only chance to interact with other babies his age on a regular basis. We go to 1 class per week. I am also still planning on taking him to baby time at the public library, it seems like all the classes were canceled for August and will resume in September. So we are looking forward to trying that.

Here are some cute pics of Ryder at bath time. He is also really good at holding on and pulling himself up to his feet! He thinks he's really something!

I caught him in the act here. His favorite places for mischief : the entertainment center, the dog cages, and the back door! This is why "No" is becoming our favorite word, now I understand why "No" is the first word for alot of babies! He understands what it means to because when we say no he CRIES!

Wow, Wow, What A Week For Ryder ! !

This week has been full of FUN surprises ! Ryder is sprouting in his 2 bottom teeth. He has been so good, I didn't notice any extra fussiness or drooling, thank goodness. His little teeth look so cute.

He has just took off crawling, TODAY. He is getting so big, so fast ! !

Play & Music

I signed Ryder up for a Play and Music class at Gymboree ! I have been wanting to try it out, it is way too hot to do anything outside and at his age it is hard to find fun indoor things for him to do. The class was really cute. We sang, played with finger puppets, listened to music and danced, played with tamborines, maraccas, and shakers ! ! The instructor was really nice ! ! Ryder was too funny each time the class would move onto the next instrument you would have to put up the one you were playing with and Ryder cried each time they took his instruments away. I was surprised that he did that, he doesn't do it at home or anywhere else. One of the other Mommies said that he may be reaching that stage. I hope not!

Next week we are planning on checking out the baby story hour at the public library. Let's hope this is just as fun because the library classes are FREE! !
