Ryder had his 4 month appointment today, he is weighing in at 17 lbs-13.5 oz & 25 inches ( he is short and round ) ! Such a BIG BOY ! His pediatrician checked his tummy time and how well he is holding his head up and said that he is doing very well. We have been having some issues with his skin and he has been getting rashes, we actually took him in on Monday to get it checked out. Turns out he has very sensitive skin and I can only use unscented hypoallergenic soaps and lotions ( no more nice baby scented lotions ). We have been using Aveeno and his skin is clearing up and looking alot better, Thank Goodness! Other than that everything is perfect!
The pediatrician also said that I could start him on the baby cereal any time....I know that it is suggested to wait 6 months, but I talked to her about it and she said that it was fine to start and recommended that I do so in the next month or so. I am super excited to give him his first taste and think that we will try it out next week. Of course we have to wait for Daddy to be here for the experience!
Here he is sitting up like a BIG BOY! I have been working with him on holding his balance and once he finds it he will sit up for a couple of minutes! then he topples over! !
Bath time! His hair is growing, slowly but surely! !
Lisa he is so cute....I hope we all will be able to get together soon. Mike talked with Aunt Mary on her birthday, said she was going to be in town this weekend and would like to get together with everyone... hopefully it will work out and we will be able to see this lil' cutie in person.
ReplyDeleteHi lisa, Yes, from the start we used only Aveeno on Camdyn, The nurses at the hospital said only use Aveeno, so we ran out and bought that. It is so pure and gentle on their sweet skin. Corie and I both have sensitive skin, so no chances with our little princess!!!!

He is so cute and a chunk of burnin love as I like to call chunky cute babies!:) We LOVE aveeno around our house! I think it actually smells better than all the others too!:) Good luck with the cereal....they don't eat much of it in the beginning, but it sure makes for some fun pictures!
