Good Morning Sunshine!

I wanted to get some pictures of Ryder when he is waking up in the morning. He smiles as soon as you come in and get him out of his crib. He must be so HAPPY to start his day. Seeing this cute little SMILE makes me even HAPPIER to start the day! He must be a morning person like Mommy! :)

~~~~Look Who's 2 Months Old Today~~~~

Ryder is 2 months old today! I can't believe it, it has gone by so fast and he is getting so big. What a special 2 months for me and Jason, I have never been more in LOVE! ! I love being a mommy! I LOVE watching Jason and Ryder together, he loves Ryder so much and is such an awsome daddy. There is nothing better than MY TWO MEN!

Ryder had his 2 month Dr appt today. He is a very healthy "BIG BOY!" He is now 14 lbs-5.5 ounces and 23.75 inches. He is a little CHUNKY MONKEY! !

TUMMY TIME FUN ! ! !

Ryder was having his Tummy Time today and I snapped a few pics. He is getting so strong and holding his head up! ! I was looking at his newborn pictures and I can't believe how big he is getting! !

Our Lil' Water Baby ! !

One of my favorite things to do is give Ryder his bath, it is part of our bedtime routine that we have established and that he has been following so well. He is such a GOOD BOY and he Loves his baths as much as I love giving them to him. He just relaxes in the warm water and kicks his little legs! I can't wait until he can sit up and play with his bath toys! So much to look forward to :) I wanted to post these pics, I think they are so DARN CUTE (he may not look too happy in some of them, he cries when I take him out of the bath) and I think he has almost every carter's bath towel available.

Just for Fun ! !

I am having a little fun with the Corie ( of the Connelly's blog ) and posting 6 random quirks/things about me :

1. I am "ADDICTED" to celebrity gossip! I have a lifetime subscription to US Weekly and love to check out PerezHilton.com (if you haven't looked on this website before you must check it out, it is Fabulous and Funny! ) daily for the latest gossip.
2. I Love reality TV. If it is a reality show chances are I probably watch it : Real World, Survivor, Big Brother, Biggest Loser, The Real Housewives, Top Chef, Top Design, Bad Girls Club, Millionaire Matchmaker, Project Runway, these are just a few of my favorites!
3. My Guilty Pleasure is ColdStone Creamery :) I like choosing my toppings and making my own creations, my favorite creation is "founders favorite" sweet cream ice cream with pecans, brownies, fudge, and caramel YUMMY! and the more toppings the better. In fact I just saw a story on the news about a new place called Yogurt Builderz and they have a salad bar set up for ice cream toppings, self serve, they have a little scale and charge by the ounce (Jason said that his bowl would probably be $20.00). We will definetly need to stop there for dessert sometime!
4. One of my FAVORITE places is SeaWorld! ! My family has been going to San Diego for summer vacation for the last few years and every time we go to San Diego, we have to go to Sea World. We spend the whole day there every time too. Between all the shows, rides, and animal feeding it is soooo much FUN! My favorite show is the Cirque De La Mer, and my favorite animals to feed are the seals and sea lions. I can't wait to take Ryder! !
5. I love AEROBICS classes (which is a good thing since I still have about 20 pounds of baby weight to lose). Put me in the gym on my own with a treadmill and I may only last 30 minutes. Get me the aerobics schedule and I will stay for 2 hours, anything from step, kickboxing, boot camp, I love it all!
6. I LOVE camping, well I guess it would be considered LUXURY CAMPING..... We have a trailer with a bed, toilet, shower, it's just like a house, that's why I call it luxury camping. I would not be caught out there in a tent. Don't get me wrong, I can get dirty. I love going on trail rides up north or riding thru the dunes, just as long as I can shower afterwards! ! :)

Happy Birthday To Me ! !

I celebrated my 28th birthday on the 23rd. Jason was on duty so we celebrated today. We went to As You Wish and I chose a platter to paint. I painted a flower on it and used Ryders little foot prints as the leaves on the flower stem. It looks so CUTE! ! and will be something that I will treasure forever! I can't wait to see the finished product, I can pick it up on Thursday. Ryder was a very good boy today, it took me about 2 hours to paint and he was very patient, if he did get fussy Jason would take him for a little walk outside and he was happy. What a fun day with MY MEN and the best birthday ever as a MOMMY! !

The Wiggles & Little Einstein

This morning I decided I would see if Ryder would watch TV. I sat him down on his bouncer chair and he actually sat and watched the Wiggles and Little Einstein. I thought that he would only last a few minutes but he sat thru both shows! :)

He was even putting his arms up and bouncing around when they sang!

Chuck E Cheese

Me, Ryder, my mom, and my sister went to Chuck E Cheese today for the bithday party of a family friend. I think that Ryder was on sensory overload between all the noise, kids running around and all the bright colors in there, he was looking around at everything. He fell asleep as soon as we walked out the door and he slept the whole way home.

What A Treat ! !

I have been working hard the last few weeks to get Ryder on a bedtime schedule....and this week he started to actually follow it. He is going to bed around 8-8:30 and he will actually sleep for 4-5 hours before he wakes up for a feeding. This is such a treat for me since it has been about 8 weeks since I have slept for more than 2 hours at a time :)

He is so funny when he sleeps, he has always hated being swaddled or wrapped up in blankets and he is starting to kick his covers off now too! After I lay him down for bed I can hear his little legs kicking away until he gets those covers off.

Ryder was in his crib for the first time, he has been sleeping in our room in his pack n' play. I decided to try and put him in there while I was doing some of his laundry and organizing his closet. I played his little dino mobile for him and he was very happy listening to the music and watching the mobile spin. I'm not sure when we will move him to his room full time, I don't know if I am ready to have him that far away yet!

Little Man

He is turning into such a Little Man ! ! Yesterday he had on his first pair of jeans with a t-shirt, and even little boots ! ! He looks so cute ! :) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Ryder has started smiling alot in the last couple of weeks, I read something that said when your baby smiles it will melt your heart, and it really does. It is soooo CUTE! ! We LOVE him sooo much! ! Here are some of the first SMILES that we caught on camera :)

Ryders Nursery

Jason worked so hard on Ryder's nursery. He did all the painting,borders, and shelves. It turned out just like I had imagined :) The theme is Lil Dino! I just LOVE it!

Baby's First Christmas ! !

What a special Christmas we had this year! It was so much fun dressing Ryder up in all of his little Christmas outfits! The holiday were sooo much fun with him around, he definetly got spoiled this year! We look forward to all the fun holidays to come!
