Ryder had his first taste of CHICKEN last night for din-din. I am keeping with the baby food making and I prepared the chicken for him. I baked some chicken legs, picked the meat off, pureed it up, and mixed it with one of his faves (sweet potatoes). Ryder has been quite the picky eater so far so I was hoping the chicken would be a hit.
This was his first taste. He didn't gobble it up like he usually does with his fruit and sweet potatoes.
He gagged a couple of times ! ! It wasn't that bad, I tried it for myself just to see !
He was able to finish almost the whole bowl and was still smiling. I'm hoping his taste buds will learn to love it...
What a cutie...I can't believe he's already eating meat WOW time is really flying by:(

ReplyDeleteHe will love it sooner then you think, meat just has a different texture!!! Even pureed it just feels different. How funny though that he gags when he doesn't like it!!!!Camdyn would frown, but never gag!!!!

Yeah for chicken! Camdyn used to LOVE everything when it was creamy, now she is a little pickier with textures. It has been interesting transitioning! Hopefully he will love his new yummy meats! He sure looks cute eating his new food group!:)
