Ryder has really been trying to "bust a move" and crawl, he just can't quite figure it out. That's OK by me, I figure that once he starts crawling I'll have a whole new set of worries. I know that he will be getting into everything.
Go, Ryder, Go ! ! !
We celebrated my dad's birthday on Sunday. The whole fam was there (minus my man, he had to work, seems like he always has to work :(
We had pasta for dinner one night and I thought why not let Ryder try it. It was whole wheat pasta, I mixed in some of his chicken puree that I made, just a tiny bit of sauce and pureed it all up together. You would think that this would be a yummy dinner for any baby, but not my picky eater. He gagged and threw up. Poor guy. If it's not fruit or sweet potatoes he doesn't want any part of it. I'm gonna keep trying though.
Jason and I had Thursday off together, that was a treat. His sergeant gave all the guys a day off for a barbeque, pool party, poker tournament. Jason took Ryder swimming and of course Ryder loved it. My man also won 1st place in the poker tournament. I was cheering him on from the sidelines saying "come on daddy, momma needs a new pair of shoes!"We are still patiently waiting for Ryder to get some TEETH.....I keep thinking that he is teething and I check him every morning, but no teeth. I say that he knows what he is doing. He doesn't want to crawl or get teeth any time soon, he wants to stay my little baby as long as possible. That's OK by me ! !
We are excited for next month. Ryder will go for his 9 month visit with his pediatrician, I wonder how much he will weigh. We will also have his 9 month photo shoot. I always look forward to pictures ! !
